TechFlow News: On June 9, “Serenity”—a newly emerged stock guru on the X platform with over 700,000 followers—posted a message identifying InnoLight (300308.SZ), a leading Chinese optical module manufacturer, as the sole A-share holding in his portfolio for the previous year. However, certain third-party market data platforms or X’s built-in AI translation feature failed to correctly recognize “InnoLight,” mistakenly translating it as “Inno Laser” (301021.SZ). This translation error triggered an influx of algorithmic trading capital and retail investors following the post. Inno Laser’s stock price surged nearly 10% within 10 minutes, with its intraday trading volume exceeding RMB 300 million. The market has since gradually realized that this anomaly stemmed from the translation error, and trading activity has returned to normal.
