WebX 2025 is Asia's flagship Web3 and blockchain conference, hosted by Japan's largest crypto media CoinPost.
September 8, 2025—Japan's flagship Web3 conference WebX concluded its third edition, a two-day event featuring in-depth discussions, cutting-edge exhibitions, and high-density business networking. This year’s conference attracted over 14,000 attendees and hosted more than 170 side events.

The event brought together a distinguished lineup of speakers spanning policymakers, industry leaders, and innovation builders, including: Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba; Arthur Hayes, CEO of Maelstrom; Adam Back, co-founder and CEO of Blockstream; CZ, founder of Binance; Haseeb Qureshi, managing partner at Dragonfly; Hayden Adams, founder and CEO of Uniswap Labs; Heath Tarbert, president of Circle Internet Group; Yoshitaka Kitao, representative director, chairman, president & CEO of SBI Holdings Inc.; and many other prominent figures.

WebX FinTech EXPO (powered by SBI Group): A closed-door event co-hosted with SBI Holdings in Osaka on August 22 gathered 1,000 regulators and global financial leaders—including Yoshitaka Kitao, Representative Director, Chairman, President & CEO of SBI Holdings; Hirofumi Yoshimura, Governor of Osaka Prefecture; and Eiji Kobayashi, Head of Japan at Securitize Japan K.K.—to discuss technological innovations and regulatory trends shaping the next generation of financial markets. WebX 2025 Main Conference, Themed Zones, and Exhibition Areas: Across five main stages, deep dialogues unfolded around stablecoins, AI, asset tokenization, and more. The RWA (Real World Assets) Pavilion (supported by Toyota Blockchain Lab) and the LINE NEXT Pavilion focused on tokenization technologies, decentralized applications, and gaming innovations. Interactive booths allowed attendees to engage directly with leading companies. The Web3 Lounge also hosted the "VC Connect" segment, linking investors, founders, and creators from the global crypto startup community through panels, keynote talks, and one-on-one meetings.

"LIGHT DANCE" Drone Light Show: On the first evening of the conference, a fleet of 300 drones lit up the sky above Zojoji Temple with a dazzling choreographed display, marking a spectacular end to the day’s program.

Official After Party: The official closing party held at Zouk Tokyo provided a vibrant finale to two days of intensive programming, as participants celebrated an exhilarating night together.
Attendee profiles spanned creators, mid-level managers, and C-suite executives, reflecting the continued expansion of WebX’s influence across industries.
