Treehouse TGE Launch: Listed on Major Exchanges and Distributing Large Amounts of TREE Token Airdrops to Reward Users
Treehouse is building a decentralized fixed-income protocol layer, dedicated to addressing core issues in the current DeFi world such as high yield volatility, opaque interest rates, and lack of interest rate standardization.
Treehouse fixed-income protocol has officially launched its Token Generation Event (TGE), with the native token TREE now live on the Ethereum mainnet and simultaneously listed on multiple centralized and decentralized exchanges. The TGE, named "Gaia," symbolizes the budding prosperity of the ecosystem.
The first phase includes pre-deposit staking rewards offering up to 75% APR, alongside a large-scale airdrop campaign rewarding community members who actively participated in ecosystem development over the past year.
Treehouse TGE — GAIA is Live!
Decentralized fixed-income protocol Treehouse today officially launched its Token Generation Event (TGE), with the native token TREE now live on the Ethereum mainnet. This TGE is named "Gaia," symbolizing a new beginning for the Treehouse ecosystem. Gaia, the Earth Mother in Greek mythology, represents the origin of all life and the starting point of nature—signifying that Treehouse will now take deep root and flourish.
This TGE not only marks a new chapter for the Treehouse protocol but also launches a major airdrop initiative, rewarding users who have actively engaged with the ecosystem, products, and activities over the past year, while enabling loyal users to further participate in the growth of Treehouse’s fixed-income ecosystem.
Airdrop Eligibility: Who Can Claim TREE?
If you participated in GoNuts (Treehouse's points program) Season 1, accumulated a certain number of Nuts (Treehouse's points) and badges, or hold a Treehouse NFT (Treehouse Squirrel Council), you are eligible for the TREE airdrop. Users can visit the Gaia Foundation’s airdrop checker and connect their wallet to verify eligibility.

Treehouse: Building DeFi Fixed-Income Infrastructure
Treehouse is building a Decentralized Fixed Income Layer, aiming to solve core issues in today’s DeFi landscape such as volatile yields, opaque interest rates, and lack of standardized rate benchmarks.
In traditional finance, the fixed-income market is valued in the tens of trillions of dollars, serving as a cornerstone for global capital market stability and liquidity. However, in DeFi, fixed-income infrastructure remains immature, lacking unified benchmark rates and stable yield mechanisms, making it difficult for investors and protocol developers to effectively manage risk and returns.
Treehouse aims to bridge this gap through standardized interest rate mechanisms and composable yield assets. Its architecture consists of two core products:
tAssets
tAssets are next-generation liquid staking tokens embedded with yield strategies. Beyond basic staking rewards, they generate additional yield by arbitraging the interest rate spread between lending and staking. For example, with tETH, users can deposit ETH or stETH to receive tETH and earn approximately 3.5–5% annual yield. tAssets are currently available on Ethereum, Arbitrum, and Mantle, with plans to expand to more chains.

Additionally, by integrating with multiple DeFi protocols (Aave, Balancer, Compound, Curve, Pendle, Silo, etc.), tAssets offer strong liquidity and composability, allowing users to continue earning yield while freely engaging across various DeFi ecosystems.

DOR (Decentralized Offered Rates)
DOR is a decentralized interest rate consensus mechanism that provides a benchmark rate framework similar to LIBOR or SOFR in traditional finance. By collaborating with multiple staking providers, market makers, and exchanges (which Treehouse calls Panelists), DOR offers reliable reference rates for fixed-income products, structured financial instruments, and interest rate derivatives in DeFi, enabling scalable growth.
As noted, DOR rates are not set unilaterally by Treehouse. Instead, multiple Panelists independently submit predictions using proprietary models and data at a fixed daily time for 1-day, 7-day, and 30-day market rates. The system then aggregates these inputs into a consensus rate, ensuring decentralization and full transparency for all users.
The first benchmark rate under DOR is the Treehouse Ethereum Staking Rate (TESR), a protocol-native yield curve specifically designed for Ethereum staking. By providing a clear rate standard, TESR enables staking product issuers and users to access predictable yield curves, facilitating more stable financial product design.

Currently, Treehouse has over 43,000 unique users, with total value locked (TVL) exceeding $550 million (approximately 140,000 ETH), and has established strategic partnerships with multiple leading DeFi protocols, steadily building a comprehensive fixed-income rate layer for DeFi!
TREE Token Utility and Ecosystem Value
TREE is the native token of the Treehouse ecosystem, designed to drive protocol growth, enable decentralized governance, and encourage active user participation. As a core component of the DOR protocol, TREE serves several key functions:
● On-chain Querying Fees: On-chain contracts or institutions using DOR data must pay fees, similar to oracle services. These fees are recycled back into the Treehouse ecosystem to ensure fair data usage.
● Panelist Staking: Panelists (individuals or institutions providing rate data or forecasts) must stake TREE or tAssets to participate in DOR rate setting, incentivizing accurate submissions and aligning long-term interests.
● Consensus Payouts: Based on forecast accuracy, TREE rewards are distributed to Panelists and Delegators (stakeholders who delegate assets to Panelists to fulfill DOR duties), encouraging reliable data provision and active engagement.
● Governance Rights: TREE holders have voting rights over the future development and direction of Treehouse.
● DAO Grants: Treehouse DAO allocates funds to support collaborations and incentivize product development within the ecosystem, driving innovation and expanding data sources like DOR.
In addition, Pre-Deposit Vault Staking is the first utility use case for TREE following the Gaia launch. Designed as an initial staking tool for the DOR protocol, the vault allows holders to stake with trusted Panelists based on historical performance and earn yields of up to 50–75% APR. Given limited vault capacity, early participation via the staking page is recommended to secure high TREE rewards.
To learn more about how to participate in the Pre-Deposit Vault, read the Pre-Deposit Vault blog and official documentation.
Pre-Deposit Vault Staking: The Pre-Deposit Vault is designed for the DOR consensus mechanism. Each Panelist has their own staking vault. TREE holders can select trusted Panelists based on historical data, stake with them, and earn ~50–75% APR after a 9-month staking period.
TREE Tokenomics
The total supply of TREE is 1 billion, with 18.6% unlocked and circulating at TGE. This distribution prioritizes the community, ensuring that users who genuinely contribute to and support the Treehouse protocol become the primary beneficiaries.
To achieve this, over one-third of the total token supply is directly allocated to the community:
● 20% for community incentives, rewarding long-term contributors to the Treehouse protocol.
● 10% for community airdrops, thanking early users for their support and engagement during Treehouse’s formative stages.
● 5.75% reserved for future airdrops and promotional campaigns, enabling more users to share in the protocol’s growth.

All tokens will be gradually unlocked over four years, governed via smart contracts and DAO mechanisms to create a transparent, sustainable, and decentralized incentive model.
Additionally, tokens allocated to strategic investors, core contributors, and the team are subject to lock-up periods of at least six months, ensuring long-term commitment and minimizing potential sell pressure immediately post-TGE. As shown in the unlock curve below, initial circulating supply primarily comes from community allocations, ensuring a stable ecosystem launch.

For more detailed information on tokenomics, refer to the official tokenomics documentation.
