Navigating Web3 tides with focused insightsIn July 2023, Mantle Network officially launched as an Ethereum Layer-2—marking the beginning of our mission to drive mass adoption of tokenized governance technology. Through hundreds of dApp deployments, multiple ecosystem collaborations, and several major upgrades, Mantle Network has become not only a chain for building liquidity but also a chain pioneering a new era of on-chain financial services—establishing the critical foundational layer upon which Mantle’s category-defining vision is built, as the “blockchain for banking.”
To date, Mantle Network has processed over 247 million transactions, with $MNT’s market capitalization growing to $2.46 billion. Entering our third year, we will build on this momentum—strengthening our technical core, expanding the ecosystem, and continuing to grow with steadfast support from developers and the community.
UR x Mantle Network – Your Bank Blockchain
Mantle Network is the foundational blockchain powering Mantle’s growth across multiple innovation pillars. From the mETH protocol to UR, the recently launched smart finance application, Mantle Network not only energizes DeFi and other innovative dApps but has evolved into a versatile vertical network that accelerates and optimizes development for both new and established applications.
Mantle’s Q3 Letter to Token Holders outlines our ambitious roadmap, anchoring financial activities firmly on Mantle Network with UR as the starting point. This includes running crypto-to-fiat deposits and withdrawals, card payments, foreign exchange, peer-to-peer transfers, and bank transfers through UR—while Mantle Network’s capabilities extend far beyond:
- Posting transactions to the blockchain for real-time auditability, proof of reserves, and automated compliance via smart contracts;
- Compatibility with TradFi rails, enabling unified fiat and crypto accounts with seamless on- and off-ramps;
- Integration of DeFi functionalities to accelerate financial innovation in a seamless and abstracted manner.
About $MNT
$MNT continues to empower the Mantle ecosystem, serving as the cornerstone of governance and growth. Holding $MNT grants access to various ecosystem initiatives (such as Q2 centralized exchange campaigns) and enhanced yield opportunities. This quarter saw the launch of additional Rewards Station benefits and participation in the Bybit Megadrop program.
- The Mantle Rewards Station has distributed over $29 million USDT* in yield rewards through tokens including $MNT, $WOO, $EIGEN, and $ENA (surpassing $30 million USDT* when including the latest MNT Rewards Boost S3 campaign);
- Through strategic partner Bybit, $MNT stakers have received token rewards such as $SKATE, $BOMB, $XO, and $TAC across six Bybit Megadrops;
- We’ve partnered with centralized exchanges including HTX, Gate.io, and MEXC to expand $MNT accessibility;
- A new Rewards Station 2.0 is currently under development;
- We continue expanding $MNT availability, most recently listing on Kraken Pro.

Technical Architecture Upgrades: Enhancing Security and Efficiency
Our goal for 2025 is clear: full integration of EigenDA and Succinct’s zkVM into Mantle Network. The former is already complete, and we are on track to integrate OP-Succinct onto the Mantle mainnet in Q3 2025—achieving a true balance of innovation in blockchain infrastructure between performance and security.
As EigenLayer upgrades EigenDA to EigenDA v2, we aim to bring this version to Mantle Network, enabling users to verify data postings without relying on the Mantle Sequencer or EigenDA Operators, further enhancing transparency.

Driving Developer and Ecosystem Support
Mantle Network is committed to partnering with developers to bring the next breakthrough application to life. From concept to scale, we provide the infrastructure, resources, and support needed to turn ideas into category-defining products. Whether you’re launching a startup or scaling up, Mantle is where vision meets execution.
Mantle Network’s developer relations team launched its flagship hackathon—Cookathon—and provided mentorship at events including Cinco de Mayo, ETHGlobal Cannes, and developer residencies through the Mantle ecosystem initiative Sozu Haus.
Cookathon runs from May to October 2025, with a total prize pool of $15,000. Cook 01 and 02 attracted 204 developers and produced six winners. Cook 03 is now underway, with more outstanding projects expected in upcoming events.
Lightning Grants, launched in July 2025, offers early-stage developers the fastest funding path to rapidly deploy their ideas or MVPs on Mantle Network. Lightning Grants is one of several funding programs we’ve introduced since inception, each tailored to different developer needs. A new Grants portal launching this quarter will help you explore every program and find the best fit for your project.
- Ecosystem dApp highlights: We welcome Funny Money and Phala Network to the ecosystem, and completed integrations last quarter with SolverNet, Heurist, AEON, Pistachio, deBridge, Noves, Everclear, Debita, Hive Intelligence, Pimlico, and World3. With 300+ dApps on Mantle Network, we’re able to deliver more thematic campaigns. In Q2 2025, HyperPlay Gaming hosted the multi-week Mantle Games Fest, offering users a chance to experience new Web3 games. Don’t forget, we also distributed 100,000 $MNT to loyal content creators through our partnership with Kaito (with another 50,000 to follow). In Q3 2025, we’re preparing for more DeFi and DeFAI applications to go live.
- Mantle offline events and meetups: This year, we’ve connected with the Mantle community at over 50 events, including ETHDenver, Token2049 Dubai, and EthCC. Our Mantle Meetups program brings Mantle to a global audience, empowering influential community leaders to grow their local impact. These authentic grassroots events are organized by developers, builders, creators, and advocates within the community. Since launch, Mantle Meetups have reached five continents and over ten countries. We’ll continue growing the Mantle community and supporting the top builders and leaders shaping the future of Web3.
