Monad Testnet Ecosystem Projects You Should Watch
Introducing eight promising ecosystem projects on the Monad testnet worth trying.
Author: spark
The Monad testnet has been live for a while now—have you all had the chance to explore many of its ecosystem projects?
I'm guessing most of you have probably only checked out the 75 projects featured on the official Monad testnet website. But there are actually more beyond that list. I'll share another link later and walk through the ecosystem projects I believe are worth experiencing during the testnet phase.

1. Nad.fun
@naddotfun Let me introduce this one—it's a meme coin launchpad, essentially Monad's version of Pump.fun. That should make it clear enough.
You can mint your own meme coins here and engage in PVP trading. During the testnet phase, there’s also an ongoing campaign where you can earn points by trading meme coins.
Why highlight this platform? Because the Monad community is famously rooted in meme culture. You’ve likely heard of the three吉祥物 (mascots): molandak, chog, and moyaki. When mainnet launches, we’re almost certain to see a golden dog emerge—probably a derivative creation based on one of these mascots.

2. RareBetSports
@RareBetSports This is a sports betting platform—basically, sports gambling. While it supports various competitive events like CS:GO, the testnet currently only offers basketball and baseball markets.
If you enjoy sports betting or casually placing wagers, this one’s worth trying. They run a weekly RareLink Prize—what if the next winner is you?

3. Kuru DEX
@KuruExchange This is a decentralized exchange with two entry points: Pro and Lite. The Pro version uses an order-book model with custodial accounts—you need to deposit testnet tokens into the DEX’s internal address to trade. The Lite version functions like Uniswap, allowing direct wallet connections for swapping.
So far, Kuru boasts the best community engagement and is even featured as a highlighted app on the official Monad testnet site. It’s one of the most frequently used DEXs on the testnet. I suspect Kuru could become the leading native DEX when mainnet launches.

4. Kizzy
@kizzymobile This is a social prediction market where you can bet on social media metrics. For example, if Keone posts a tweet, you can predict whether it will reach 1 million views within 24 hours—yes or no. You can also bet on changes in Keone’s follower count: will it increase or decrease by more than 100 followers in 24 hours?
It might end up being similar to Polymarket, full of “free money” opportunities—even if the returns aren’t huge.

5. Curvance
@Curvance This is a lending market and, so far, the best lending protocol I've seen on the Monad testnet. It already supports multiple blockchains and is well-positioned to secure a strong foothold on Monad mainnet.

6. Magic Eden
@MagicEden You can't afford not to pay attention—since the Monad testnet launched, this has been the largest NFT marketplace on the network. Once mainnet goes live, user habits will likely favor Magic Eden. So keeping an eye on this project makes perfect sense.
That said, other NFT marketplaces are also worth watching. There may be arbitrage opportunities between platforms when mainnet launches. I’d recommend checking out @poply_xyz as well.

7. aPriori & Fastlane
@apr_labs @0xFastLane I’ll group these two together—they both operate at the intersection of MEV and DeFi. In terms of funding, aPriori raised over $10.7M with strategic investment from YZi Labs, while Fastlane secured $8.3M.
In terms of current hype, aPriori is generating more buzz than Fastlane—but that doesn’t mean we should overlook Fastlane entirely.
Both projects show strong potential. We’ll need to wait for mainnet to see how they truly compare. For now, both allow MON token staking on testnet—worth exploring if you're interested.

8. Fantasy
@fantasy_top_ No need for much introduction—this is a card game that went viral on day one of the testnet launch.
Right now, playing the game and joining tournaments earns you lottery tickets for NFT whitelist spots. Don’t miss out—many players have already accumulated several whitelist entries.

Conclusion
That’s all for now. The testnet has only been live for a little over two months, and you probably already have your favorite candidates for top mainnet projects. But don’t get too attached—there are still unreleased projects that could emerge as dark horses. Keep an eye on @perpltrade, @narrativexyz, and @CompositeLabs.
