The lyrics calling for freedom and ideals resonated deeply with the core principle of the OKX Web3 self-custody wallet: “Your assets, under your control.” All of this perfectly reflected OKX Web3's pursuit of openness, futurism, and user-centricity.
Kicking off the event, Lanng, OKX's Mandarin Brand Director, delivered a deep dive into the "New Narrative of OKX," discussing key themes such as product development, security, transparency, and technological innovation. Lanng emphasized that throughout the continuous innovation of OKX Web3 products, the focus has always remained on user needs—driving feature upgrades and optimizations to ensure every innovation effectively addresses user pain points and enhances overall experience.
Lanng highlighted the AI Insights feature as a Web3 information gateway, offering a precise tool for information collection and analysis—especially valuable for ordinary users who may be less sensitive to market data. The Safety Mode function is a direct response to the industrialization of the crypto ecosystem, ideal for teams and studios. By adding a password layer to private key export functions, it prevents employees from exporting keys without authorization while still allowing normal on-chain interactions—ensuring smooth workflows without compromising security.

Larry, DeFi Lead at Sei Network, delivered a keynote speech titled *The Fastest Parallelized EVM Layer 1* at the "OKX Web3 Night." He explained that Sei aims to scale the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), targeting a throughput of 5 billion gas per second. Through parallel execution, fast consensus, and optimized storage, Sei has already built the highest-performing EVM in history. Going forward, Sei plans to rebuild the EVM from the ground up, focusing on three core areas: consensus, storage, and execution. The upcoming Giga upgrade will enhance performance by optimizing consensus mechanisms and increasing network throughput. Lydia, CXO of Particle Network / UniversalX; Luke, Founder of Haedal; and Lennix, OKX's Global Chief Business Officer, participated in a deep-dive roundtable discussion titled *How Far Are We From Mass Adoption of Web3?* Luke noted that Token Generation Events (TGEs) are crucial opportunities for projects to build communities and grow users. However, from the perspective of a DeFi project’s full lifecycle, TGE marks only the beginning—the “coming-of-age moment” when tokenomics starts powering a complete product. Projects with solid fundamentals and strong revenue models will gain market recognition and fair valuation. Luke also revealed that Haedal Protocol will undergo its TGE in April.
