The HashKey Chain Hackathon—「Taiyi」will launch on March 28 in Seoul, South Korea, with a total prize pool of 500,000 $HSK, inviting developers worldwide.
This hackathon focuses on building a compliant and secure Web3 financial ecosystem, inviting developers, innovators, and Web3 enthusiasts worldwide to participate in four competition tracks centered on key areas within the HashKey Chain ecosystem.
Navigating Web3 tides with focused insightsHashKey Chain will host the second developer conference of its "HashKey Hackerhouse" series—the "Taiyi" Hackathon—from March 28 to 30 in Seoul, South Korea.
Built on the foundation of constructing a compliant and secure Web3 financial ecosystem, this hackathon welcomes global developers, innovators, and Web3 enthusiasts. It features four competition tracks focused on key areas within the HashKey Chain ecosystem.
Main Tracks
● PayFi – Explore cross-border payment protocols, RWA asset tokenization, AI-driven quantitative strategies, and more to build compliant bridges connecting traditional finance with Web3.
● Social – Develop social growth tools, decentralized content platforms, or community governance models to create a dedicated social layer on HashKey Chain for millions of users.
● AI Agent – Whether it’s on-chain information assistants, asset management helpers, or intelligent collaborators for developers, use AI agents to enable “zero-barrier” Web3 interactions.
● AI Infra – Build VS Code plugins, data availability components, or integration toolkits linking HashKey Chain with AI frameworks like LangChain—empower the ecosystem through infrastructure innovation.
Prizes and Support
Total Hackathon & Grant Pool: 500,000 HSK
The event includes six awards (including a special student prize). Winning projects will not only have the opportunity to receive long-term grants of up to 500,000 HSK and mentorship support but can also join the HashKey Chain ecosystem and collaborate closely with the core team and industry partners.
In addition, 100 $HSK red packets will be distributed at the event, giving every attending developer a chance to claim one.
HashKey Chain Talent Program:
HashKey Chain invites developers worldwide to join its talent registry. Successful applicants will receive $HSK and an exclusive NFT reward.
How to join:
● Register and participate in the hackathon, then check in at the event;
● If registered on Luma but unable to attend in person, HashKey Chain will evaluate your GitHub profile based on your contributions to HSK, Ethereum, and other open-source projects. Outstanding contributors may still be selected for the talent program.

This hackathon actively engages local Korean developer communities and projects, focusing on PayFi, RWA, and stablecoin sectors. So far, over 10 community and project collaborations have been established.
