During this time, he built deep expertise in creating high-performance systems and later joined Jump’s crypto team, focusing on Solana’s DeFi ecosystem.
His experience with Solana revealed two key opportunities: the need for high-performance blockchain infrastructure and the importance of EVM compatibility. "The market needs a system that combines Solana's speed with Ethereum's developer-friendly environment," Keone explained. This vision led to the founding of Monad in early 2022, alongside co-founders James Hunsaker and Eunice Giarta.
