Unlike other varied and differently scaled Web3 events, Consensus Hong Kong brings the hallmark high quality and standards of the Consensus brand to Hong Kong. Michael Lau noted that this year's event will feature large-scale presentations of high-quality content, highlighted by more than 270 speakers from around the globe—most of whom are founders, CEOs, senior executives, and presidents. The "large scale" also refers to thousands of attendees already registered from over 90 countries.
Additionally, Hong Kong’s unique strategic location makes it a “gateway to Asia.” Most major Asian markets and jurisdictions are within a four-hour flight radius, enabling top voices and ecosystems across Asia to converge and allowing attendees to gain deep insights into regional dynamics.
Michael Lau also pointed out that Consensus Hong Kong presents a prime opportunity to showcase Hong Kong itself—both its local Web3 industry and the city as a whole. "We aim to lead in demonstrating how to integrate the city into the conference experience within the Web3 conference space. A great example is Consensus Hong Kong becoming the first official Web3 sponsor of Happy Wednesday horse racing events. We’ll host an official evening event at the Happy Valley Racecourse for hundreds of attendees. The key is creating a unique conference experience by incorporating iconic Hong Kong experiences and partnering with locally distinctive organizations."
It is expected that Consensus Hong Kong will bring together more than 8,000 industry participants from around the world to discuss topics such as cryptocurrency, blockchain, and the Web3 ecosystem, aiming to pool collective wisdom and shape a shared digital vision.
