Binance Labs' First DeSci Investment
Binance Labs announced an investment in BIO Protocol to support patient-led scientific research and accelerate the expansion of the BioDAO ecosystem.
A few days later, Binance Labs and BIO co-hosted a DeSci Builders event attended by both CZ and Vitalik.
At the event, Vitalik showcased VD001—the first longevity product launched by VitaDAO—a natural high-dose spermidine supplement approved by Thailand’s FDA.

DeSci 2.0: BIO Leading the Biotech Revolution
Paul Kohlhaas, co-founder of BIO, shared the latest vision for BIO Protocol. He detailed upcoming features including the launch of new BioDAOs, upgrades to BIO Launchpad, and the public release of the BIO token.

Gamified Research Takes Off
pump.science launched its second experiment to investigate whether Rifampicin ($RIF) and Urolithin A ($URO) can extend the lifespan of fruit flies. The experiment quickly attracted widespread attention from the crypto community, causing both tokens to "take off" in market performance. Within just 48 hours, the Catalyst platform raised over $1.3 million across six scientific research projects, all reaching their funding caps. These projects span cutting-edge areas such as Alzheimer’s disease, brain tissue regeneration, aging, and biomining, with participating institutions including King's College, Tel Aviv University, and Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
ValleyDAO Sets New Catalyst Funding Record
