Pixelverse raises $5.5 million to bring Web3 gaming to the world
Telegram-based game Pixelverse raises $5.5 million, with participation from Delphi Ventures and others.

Pixelverse, an emerging entertainment studio and gaming ecosystem, has completed a funding round led by top-tier venture capital funds and prominent founders from the gaming and Web3 sectors. The company raised a total of $5.5 million to fuel the growth of its gaming ecosystem, which attracted over 15 million users within its first month of operation.
Lead investors include Delphi Ventures, Merit Circle, and Mechanism Capital. Participating in the round were Bitscale Capital, Ghaf Capital, Big Brain Holdings, LiquidX, and Foresight Ventures. Angel investors include Sébastien Borget, co-founder of The Sandbox, Luca Netz, Dingaling, DCF GOD, Grail, and James Kwon.
This venture funding comes at a time of record-breaking growth for Pixelverse. Its task-based cyberpunk browser and Telegram games currently boast over 15 million registered users and more than 5 million daily active users.
Pixelverse has emerged as a pioneer in the Web3 gaming space, rapidly transitioning into a mainstream application. It is poised to become the first platform to migrate 100 million Web2 gamers into its expansive Web3 ecosystem, transforming the concept of mass adoption from an abstract idea into tangible reality.
Kori Leon, COO of Pixelverse and former member of Binance's listings team, commented on the funding round: “During my time at Binance, I’ve never seen a company achieve such strong app metrics in such a short period. Pixelverse is truly redefining the rules of web applications. We’re not just seeing user base growth—we’re witnessing deep connections and interactions forming within the community, which is incredible. With this funding, we will continue expanding our application strategy to become a leading gaming and entertainment hub not only in Web3 but globally.”
Piers Kicks, Founding Partner at Delphi Ventures, said: “We’re excited to support Pixelverse as they actively leverage Telegram’s distribution power to bring massive audiences into their ecosystem. The team deeply understands the pulse of the market, and we look forward to seeing how their ambitious roadmap unfolds throughout the year, shaped by community feedback.”
Pixelverse has played a key role in pioneering the Tap-to-Earn model, which rewards users for regularly engaging with fun online games and mini-apps. It represents the fusion of GameFi and SocialFi, with its Tap-to-Earn format being dubbed the "NotCoin of gaming."
In Pixelverse’s Telegram mini-app PixelTap, over 10 million battles take place every day. Meanwhile, the browser-based Pixelverse realm will expand further with the addition of world-renowned art directors and world-builders, evolving into a universe featuring multiple mini-games and immersive storylines—more details to be announced soon.
