HackaTRON Season 6 consists of five different tracks.
Navigating Web3 tides with focused insightsOn February 21, HTX DAO announced its support for HackaTRON Season 6. Jointly organized by HTX DAO and its partners TRON DAO, BitTorrent Chain, and JustLend DAO, the event will run from February 20 to June 28, with prize pools reaching up to $650,000.
Hackathons have long been breeding grounds for top-tier projects. To date, HackaTRON has successfully completed five seasons, helping countless innovative ideas take root and flourish.
Notably, winning projects from HackaTRON Season 5 spanned categories including Web3, DeFi, Artistry, A.I., and Builder. All winning projects were successfully launched on the TRON mainnet before the deadline and fully received their respective awards from the total prize pool of $500,000.
Following the success of HackaTRON Season 5, expectations are high for HackaTRON Season 6.
HackaTRON Season 6 features five distinct tracks, including one new addition: Integration.
1. Web3: Contribute to building the next stage of the internet toward a decentralized future.
2. Artistry: Redefine entertainment by combining blockchain technology with gaming and NFTs, exploring new horizons for creators.
3. DeFi: Build the next-generation DeFi project that makes financial services more accessible.
4. Builder: For projects delivering major updates on TRON/BTTC.
5. Integration (new track): A new category inviting protocols, dApps, or services that integrate into and enrich the TRON ecosystem.
Season 6 offers a total prize pool of up to $650,000, including $500,000 in TRX—the native token of the TRON network—for standard prizes, and an additional $150,000 in energy grants. The energy grant is designed to subsidize network fees, enabling users to interact with the blockchain more smoothly and efficiently. The first-place winner in each track, as determined by judging and community voting, will receive $25,000 and $7,000 worth of TRX respectively.
HTX DAO champions open values and collaborates with all ecosystem builders to drive ecological growth. This season stands out due to its collaborative spirit and strong sponsor support, with each sponsor bringing unique value to the blockchain space. Sponsors include Ankr, a Web3 decentralized infrastructure provider; ChainGPT, an AI tool provider for Web3 and blockchain; AI-Tech Solidius, a high-performance computing platform focused on AI and blockchain services; GT-Protocol, a decentralized protocol offering various DeFi tools; and Morpheus Network, a supply chain platform providing secure supply chain solutions.
For HackaTRON Season 6, project submissions will be accepted from February 20 to May 7, with judging and community voting taking place from May 22 to May 29. Winners will be announced on June 11 and showcased between June 17 and June 22. The final mainnet launch deadline is June 28.
