OKX to Host NFT AI Creation Event During Tribeca Film Festival
OKX will host a DIY NFT experiment at Spring Studios in New York during the Tribeca Film Festival from June 7 to 14, where participants can design and create their own NFTs using AI (AIGC).

On June 7, leading Web3 technology company OKX announced it will host a DIY NFT experiment at Spring Studios in New York during the Tribeca Film Festival from June 7 to 14. Participants can design and create their own NFTs using AI (AIGC) technology.
The event will take place in an open space on the first floor of Spring Studios in New York. Attendees can use the "AI Creation" feature in the OKX Web3 Wallet to generate and customize NFTs by entering text descriptions, experiencing firsthand how OKX's Web3 products work. They can also interact directly with OKX ambassadors on site to learn more about the platform. Powered by AIGC technology, the "AI Creation" function leverages machine learning algorithms to generate original digital artworks. Each NFT designed by participants will be minted and stored on the blockchain, displayed live on screens at the venue, or listed on the OKX NFT marketplace.
In addition, OKX will install vending machines outside the "OKX Theater at BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center," allowing users to purchase items via the OKX Web3 Wallet using cryptocurrency.
Haider Rafique, Chief Marketing Officer of OKX, said: “We are proud to host the OKX NFT Experiment at the Tribeca Film Festival to showcase the transformative potential of Web3 and AI technologies in art. Our goal is to empower everyone to design and create their own NFTs, inspiring creators to explore the world of digital art.”
Nate Zou, one of the leads of the OKX Web3 Wallet, said: “We’re excited to showcase Web3 technology and innovative products like the OKX Web3 Wallet at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival and connect with global creatives. We will continue exploring the potential of Web3 innovations and the new possibilities they bring.”
Jane Rosenthal, Co-founder and CEO of Tribeca Enterprises, said: “Thanks to our partner OKX’s vision and support, the Tribeca Film Festival is integrating Web3 into its programming. The Web3 world represented by OKX and the artistic world represented by Tribeca are increasingly converging. We’re thrilled to explore the possibilities of Web3 innovation together with OKX.”
The ongoing collaboration between OKX and the Tribeca Film Festival aims to create new opportunities for creators, fans, and talent through innovative technologies such as digital assets, Web3, and the metaverse. In January, OKX launched the first-ever Tribeca Festival NFT Pass of 2023, offering fans exciting access to the festival. NFT pass holders received exclusive benefits including attendance at the awards ceremony co-hosted by Tribeca co-founders Jane Rosenthal and Robert De Niro, special screening privileges, and invitations to private cocktail events.
