This event is initiated by Sharding Capital, an early-stage Web3 fund, with participation from DIFC Innovation Hub (Dubai International Financial Centre), DMCC Crypto Center (Dubai Multi Commodities Centre), Dubai Blockchain Center, and Mimo Labs—the regulated issuer of traditional financial bond NFTs.
Shard Dubai Demo Day is Dubai's first and largest local demo event, featuring both online and offline components. Shard Dubai Demo Day aims to precisely connect the world’s most outstanding Web3 startups with crypto VCs for efficient face-to-face dialogue, enabling participants to access global funding opportunities and gain international exposure. Overview: Fuji Finance is a cross-chain lending market aggregator supporting Ethereum, Polygon, Fantom, Arbitrum, and Optimism. Its upcoming v2 version will use Connext’s cross-chain messaging service and enable cross-chain pools via the ERC-4626 standard.

10. Project Name: OrbofiAI
Overview: Orbofi enables users to create AI-generated assets, factories, and characters for Web3, gaming, and the metaverse. It also allows users to upload AI-generated images and prompts, then tag and sell them as cryptocurrency assets on the blockchain. The platform will soon launch Community Orbs—a metaverse space where users can create personalized environments for themselves, friends, communities, followers, or brands. Additionally, users can search for AI-generated game and media assets.

The selected projects primarily focus on building products in areas such as DeFi, RWA, NFTFi, AI, and Layer 2 solutions. These projects either deliver superior native applications or develop accessible solutions designed to onboard mainstream users into Web3. Several have already received investment recognition from prominent VCs, including Sharding Capital.
This event invites a curated group of top-tier early-stage Web3 founders, active venture capitalists, angel investors, and leaders from UAE government agencies and nonprofit organizations to gather at Dubai—the new-generation blockchain hub—to facilitate connections between high-potential projects and local Web3 resources.
