Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida stated during the House of Representatives Budget Committee meeting that there are numerous possibilities for flexible applications of Web3. For instance, DAOs could allow people with shared social interests to form new communities. NFTs may diversify creators’ revenue streams and help maintain or increase fan loyalty. Web3 could become a powerful tool for Japan's "Cool Japan" initiative and regional revitalization. He gave affirmative responses while actively using terms related to Web3. It is reported that the Japanese government’s “Cool Japan” policy, launched in the second decade of the 21st century, is a cultural industry-centered international strategy.
Today, we are pleased to launch our themed roadshow, “Japan Web3 Outlook: Resource Flow,” an integrated virtual event combining a hackathon, summit, and roadshow into one streamlined experience, taking place on February 28, 2023.
