Crypto "Get Rich" Trio: MEV, Buildoor, and NFT
If you have exceptional skills and focus in the crypto world, I believe making ten million dollars a year is not difficult at all.

If you possess exceptional skills and focus in the crypto world, I believe earning ten million dollars annually isn't particularly difficult. But first, you need to understand what asymmetric upside means. Asymmetric upside refers to: returns that exceed the risks taken—such as building something or engaging in MEV—whereas going to college and getting a job are examples of symmetric upside.

Clearly, we should focus on high-return opportunities—that is, asymmetric upside (Asymmetric).
I've seen countless examples in Web3—even many young dropouts earning over $3 million. So how can one achieve such asymmetry? MEV is a case we can rely on.
MEV
People can make substantial money through MEV. What exactly is MEV? MEV consists of four categories: arbitrage, liquidations, sandwich attacks, and long-tail assets. If you have a combined MEV strategy along with some Alpha, you could easily reach seven figures per month.

However, as this space becomes increasingly crowded, I believe individual MEV strategies alone will find it hard to generate such large asymmetric returns anymore. You need to be more competitive—you need greater information asymmetry plus Alpha to stay within "asymmetric upside."
Buildoor
I think creation is one of the most exciting things in crypto. Capital is everywhere; all you need is community management and an excellent product to attract it.
When building new applications on L1 or L2, the rewards provided by protocols are especially asymmetric. When returns outweigh risks, what you need to do is act boldly and take on those risks. BastionProtocol built a lending protocol early on NEAR and reaped massive gains.
In this process, you don’t even need to be the best, but you must not underestimate the power of user experience, user interface, branding, and narrative. In crypto, very few projects achieve significant technological breakthroughs, so delivering strong UI, UX, and compelling narratives often leads to success.
NFT + Gaming
It’s no secret that NFTs can generate profits. The NFT market bubble continues to grow, yet all successful NFT projects share three common traits: great art, strong branding, and value.
Where then lies the asymmetry in NFTs? I believe the most asymmetric opportunity in the NFT space is becoming the next Disney in Web3—building a brand large enough that people want to engage with it. This isn't easy, and the best path forward involves art, branding, and value capture.
Example: Raidparty offers gaming and social features, its NFTs are of high quality, and the project raised around $20 million. Moonbirds raised $66 million, is currently trending, and backed by an outstanding team and design—potentially the next flagship brand in Web3.
Conclusion
In Web3, you'll find numerous examples of asymmetric upside, and there are many ways to achieve it—but you must remain focused. Concentrate on areas where you excel and which genuinely interest you. If you pay attention to too many things at once, chances are none of them will succeed.
