Movement is an innovative project dedicated to bringing the Move language into the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) ecosystem. In today's crypto market, there are numerous Ethereum Layer 2 solutions that suffer from severe homogenization and frequent security issues. Movement aims to address these problems by introducing the Move language.
Core Advantages
-
Security
-
The Move language uses a static call mechanism, avoiding security vulnerabilities that may arise from dynamic calls in languages like Solidity;
-
Specifically designed to prevent common attacks such as reentrancy, toxic tokens, and deceptive token approvals;
-
Provides a more secure smart contract environment through strict resource management.
-
High Performance
-
Optimizes transaction storage space and computational costs via "module packaging" technology
-
TPS can reach tens of thousands of transactions per second, scalable up to 100,000 levels
-
Supports EVM parallelization, delivering high throughput and low latency
-
Ecological Compatibility
-
Enables automatic conversion of Solidity code to Move via the Movement SDK
-
Supports interoperability with Ethereum and other EVM networks
-
Plans to support multiple Move ecosystems including Aptos and SUI
