TechFlow, April 19 — Du Jun posted on social media stating that the decision for ABCDE to halt new project investments and Series II fundraising stems from concerns about the current primary market ecosystem, not due to financial or capability issues. The ABCDE fund team is operating well, with sufficient cornerstone investor funding and ongoing support.
Du Jun pointed out that many projects are overly focused on quickly listing on exchanges, neglecting long-term value creation, while some primary market funds excessively prioritize short-term market cap performance. Du Jun plans to dedicate time and resources to projects that genuinely drive industrial progress, focusing on incubating enterprises that bring long-term value to the industry.
Previous report, Du Jun stated that ABCDE has ceased investing in new projects and will launch a new incubator brand, Vernal.
