TechFlow news, December 13 — According to market updates, Bitcoin mining firm Riot Platforms (NASDAQ: RIOT) announced that between December 10 and December 12, it acquired approximately 5,117 BTC at an average price of $99,669 per BTC (inclusive of fees), amounting to a total investment of about $510 million. As of December 12, Riot’s total Bitcoin holdings have increased to 16,728 BTC. The purchase was funded by net proceeds from the issuance of 0.75% convertible senior notes due 2030, as well as the company’s existing cash.
