TechFlow news, according to DL News, JPMorgan analysts previously stated in a report that Tether (USDT) has an overly dominant position and faces risks from evolving regulatory environments in Europe and the United States.
Paolo Ardoino, CEO of Tether, pushed back against JPMorgan's claims, calling the financial services giant "hypocritical."
Ardoino said: "Tether's market dominance may be seen as 'negative' by competitors, including banking players aspiring to similar success, but it has never been negative for the markets that need us most. JPMorgan’s claims about increasing centralization seem hypocritical."
