TechFlow reports that the Manta team announced on X platform they encountered a coordinated DDoS attack on their network. This occurred at 9:30 AM UTC, coinciding exactly with their TGE event. Since the Manta TGE began, Manta's RPC nodes have received over 135 million access requests. The blockchain remains secure and funds are safe, but communication between dApps and the chain is severely disrupted.
Manta is developing additional DDoS mitigation measures and communicating with partners and service providers to deploy countermeasures.
Previous report, Manta Network stated on social media X that around 5 PM, Manta Pacific chain suffered an RPC attack, which is currently being addressed. The chain is operating normally, blocks are being produced regularly, and accessibility will be restored shortly.
