TechFlow News: On March 13, according to JINSHI Data, Apple announced a reduction in its commission rates. The details are as follows: In consultation with Chinese regulatory authorities, Apple will adjust its App Store operations in China. Effective March 15, 2026, the iOS and iPadOS commission rates applicable to the mainland China App Store will be revised. The standard commission rate for in-app purchases and paid apps will decrease from the current 30% to 25%. For eligible in-app purchases under the App Store Small Business Program and the Mini Apps Partner Program—as well as for auto-renewing subscription commissions after the first year—the commission rate will decrease from the current 15% to 12%. Developers do not need to sign new terms prior to March 15 to benefit from these revised commission rates.
