TechFlow, Dec. 30 — According to Nikkei Asia, U.S. tech giant Meta announced that following the completion of its acquisition of AI startup Manus, the company will no longer retain any Chinese ownership or business operations in China.
Manus is currently headquartered in Singapore. It originally had bases in both Beijing and Wuhan but later relocated its headquarters to Singapore and laid off most of its employees in China. Manus does not offer services in China. Meta stated that Manus will maintain its current business operations while being integrated into the Meta platform.
