Jackson.io, a decentralized gaming protocol within the Sui ecosystem, participated in Blockchain Week Philippines from June 10–11 and hosted its NFT-themed "Shark Night" party on the evening of June 11. Originally planning to invite 500 Sharkz NFT holders, the event drew over 800 registrants, making it one of the largest unofficial offline NFT gatherings in the Sui ecosystem to date.
Over 800 Sharkz NFT Holders Attend
The after-party was held at XYLO at The Palace, a renowned nightclub in the Philippines, where the atmosphere was vibrant and energetic. In addition to members of the Sharkz community, several local blockchain influencers and KOLs attended, adding further prominence and excitement to the event.
Notably, the Jackson Sharkz NFT community has gained rapid traction since its launch just three months ago, building strong momentum within the Sui ecosystem. This event successfully brought together holders from around the world, injecting fresh energy into Sui's NFT landscape.
Event Supported by OKX Wallet with On-Site Airdrop
An interactive experience booth sponsored by OKX Wallet attracted significant attention throughout the event. Toward the end, organizers announced an airdrop from OKX, followed by staff distributing OKX gift cards embedded with QR codes. Sharkz NFT holders could scan the code using the OKX app to claim a $5 USDT airdrop directly into their OKX wallet. The announcement sparked enthusiastic reactions, marking the climax of the night.
In addition, the entire OKX Philippines team, along with select OKX leaders from Southeast Asia, attended in person to celebrate with the Sharkz NFT holders.
Future Roadmap for Jackson.io Announced
During the event, Jackson.io unveiled its upcoming plans, including:
- The third round of its points competition will officially launch on June 16
- A physical car giveaway event is planned in the Philippines during early Q4
- Jackson.io aims to achieve over $100 million in total trading volume this year
Throughout the two-day Blockchain Week Philippines exhibition, the Jackson.io booth attracted large crowds and hosted live Sharkz NFT raffles, drawing thousands of participants and generating widespread attention and discussion.
