RWA (Hong Kong) Summit Concludes Successfully: HashKey Chain Joins Hands with BlockbeatHK and Futurecloud to Explore New Paths in Compliance and Technological Innovation
HashKey Chain, along with BlockbeatHK and Futurecloud as major core participants, have injected new momentum into the global RWA development from dimensions such as technical enablement, ecosystem collaboration, and compliance practices.
On the evening of April 7, the "RWA (Hong Kong) Summit," co-hosted by HashKey Chain, BlockbeatHK, and Futurecloud, with AWS as co-organizer and participation from LocoBike and Evident, successfully concluded at AWS’s Hong Kong office. As a key side event of Hong Kong Web3 Festival 2025, the summit brought together over a hundred industry leaders and entrepreneurs from government agencies, industry associations, financial institutions, and the Web3 sector in Shanghai and Hong Kong. It also attracted tens of thousands of online viewers through live streaming.
Through in-depth discussions on regulatory frameworks, technological innovation, and market opportunities, HashKey Chain, BlockbeatHK, and Futurecloud—serving as core participants—each contributed new momentum to global RWA development from dimensions including technological empowerment, ecosystem collaboration, and compliance practices.

BlockbeatHK: Empowering Real-World Industries and Building a Web3 Value Network
At the summit, Eddy Tao, Consulting Partner at BlockbeatHK, shared the company's innovative experiences and achievements over the past two years in empowering finance and real-world industries with blockchain technology. Based in Hong Kong and serving globally, BlockbeatHK is a comprehensive Web3.0 solutions provider. Since 2017, its core team has been a key open-source contributor to the global cross-chain project Cosmos, a major builder of national and global blockchain infrastructures, and a continuous provider of technical and product innovation for mainstream public chains such as HashKey Chain. As a strategic technology partner to multiple licensed global financial institutions, the company focuses on enabling digital asset services for its partners. It offers one-stop RWA solutions aimed at applying blockchain technology to the real economy and enhancing efficient value transfer. Additionally, it operates multiple platforms, including a multi-chain cross-chain API service platform, a Web3 payment platform, a cross-chain explorer, and a digital marketing platform. During his speech, Eddy Tao introduced the latest features of core products such as the RWA asset issuance and management platform and SPARK Pay—a Web3 payment platform—along with application cases in green energy, carbon assets, and bike-sharing.
Finally, two major partnerships announced by BlockbeatHK drew significant attention. First, LocoBike—the largest bike-sharing operator in Hong Kong—joined forces with BlockbeatHK to launch the world’s first bike-sharing system supporting cryptocurrency payments. Users can now pay via mainstream cryptocurrencies such as USDT, USDC, and ETH, with future plans to expand cooperation into renewable energy RWA, tokenized carbon credits, and NFT-based digital marketing. The second partnership was signed with Futurecloud, an AWS Advanced Partner, aiming to jointly promote market outreach and infrastructure services, offering Web3 enterprises full-stack support from cloud computing to blockchain technology. These collaborations not only demonstrate BlockbeatHK’s ability to implement technology in real-world applications but also mark substantial progress in its strategy of mutual integration between the real economy and digital finance.

HashKey Chain: Leading with Compliance, Redefining Global Asset Tokenization
As a key builder of Hong Kong’s compliant financial infrastructure, HashKey Chain showcased its unique positioning in the RWA space during the summit. Ellie, BD Lead at HashKey Chain, delivered a keynote speech titled “Unlocking Real World Assets on Chain,” systematically explaining how HashKey Chain addresses the challenges of low liquidity and high entry barriers for traditional assets through technological innovation and compliance design. She noted that while the global RWA market has already surpassed one trillion USD, a large portion of these assets remains dormant due to regulatory differences and technological barriers. HashKey Chain builds a compliance-friendly public chain ecosystem that supports asset issuance, collateralization, and derivative development, while leveraging multi-layer audit mechanisms and cross-chain interoperability protocols to ensure secure, trustworthy, and efficient on-chain asset circulation.
Ellie highlighted that HashKey Chain has already partnered with traditional financial institutions such as China Pacific Insurance and Boshi Fund, supporting the on-chain issuance of multiple financial assets and reducing the traditional T+2 cross-border settlement cycle to seconds—significantly lowering intermediary costs and providing technical assurance for large-scale financial applications.
This technical advantage was further explored in a subsequent panel discussion. Moderated by Ginzy Wu, BR Lead at HashKey Chain, the first roundtable session—“RWA Driving Global Asset Mobility: Regulatory Frameworks, Technological Innovation, and Market Opportunities”—featured guests from Aitos.io, Evident, JunHe Law Offices, and Prosynergy engaging in deep dialogue.
From the perspective of regulatory frameworks and technological synergy, Ellie emphasized that RWA growth must be predicated on regulatory transparency. As a hub connecting international markets, Hong Kong can provide room for experimentation through mechanisms like “regulatory sandboxes.” Meanwhile, the integration of cross-chain technology, zero-knowledge proofs, and oracle networks will effectively address core issues such as asset ownership verification, price discovery, and trusted off-chain data transmission onto the blockchain. This view resonates with BlockbeatHK’s emphasis on technological empowerment, highlighting an industry consensus that values both compliance and innovation.

AWS: A Technical Powerhouse in the Web3 Space
As host of this event, AWS demonstrated its extensive expertise in the Web3 domain. Lei Kong, AWS Web3 Technology Director, warmly welcomed attendees and shared AWS’s long-standing experience and achievements in the Web3 field. Kelvin Law, AWS Solutions Architect, presented two case studies showcasing how exchange clients leveraged AWS to achieve high security, scalability, and global compliance. Futurecloud, as an AWS Advanced Partner, continues to advance the application and expansion of Web3 technology through collaborations, driving prosperity within the industry ecosystem.

Synergy Between Technical Practice and Compliance Exploration
Throughout the summit, although BlockbeatHK and HashKey Chain followed different practical paths, their underlying logic was highly aligned. Through its collaboration with LocoBike, BlockbeatHK demonstrated the immediate application value of blockchain technology in consumer scenarios, while its ecosystem coordination with Futurecloud laid the foundation for scalable deployment of Web3 infrastructure. HashKey Chain, meanwhile, connects with traditional financial needs at the public chain level, using compliance design to overcome critical bottlenecks in asset tokenization. Together, they form a complete ecological loop spanning technical tools to financial infrastructure.
Notably, both organizations regard “compliance” as a core competitive advantage. Their rigorous commitment to compliance not only sets an industry benchmark but also closely aligns with Hong Kong’s strategic goal of becoming a “global virtual asset hub.”
Hong Kong: A New Nexus for Digital Finance and the Real Economy
With the conclusion of the roundtable discussion, the summit sent a strong global signal about compliant RWA development, using Hong Kong as a strategic pivot. The practices of BlockbeatHK and HashKey Chain show that blockchain technology is moving beyond the singular narrative of cryptocurrencies, shifting toward deeper value in digitizing physical assets and enabling global mobility. Whether it’s integrating bike-sharing with cryptocurrency payments or achieving exponential improvements in cross-border settlement efficiency, these cases reveal Web3’s disruptive potential for traditional business models.
Standing at the convergence point between digital and real economies, Hong Kong—with its unique policy environment and status as an international financial center—is emerging as an ideal testing ground for RWA innovation. The competition ahead will no longer be solely about technology, but about ecosystems. When regulatory frameworks, technological innovation, and market demand resonate in harmony, a global financial transformation anchored in asset tokenization has quietly begun.
