First Pump.fun with its daily revenue of tens of millions of dollars, now Four.Meme endorsed by CZ—launchpad platforms onchain continue to exhibit strong casino-like effects. On February 8, the long-silent DeSci (Decentralized Science) sector also saw veteran project Pump.Science announce that its new launchpad will go live next week. Immediately after the news broke, $Rif and $Uro both rebounded by 20%. Previously,

Pump.Science co-founder Benjels stated in an interview that he planned to launch 20 new compound tokens by Christmas 2024.

In reality, however, he delayed this move until now. Over the past three months, affected by external factors such as interest rate cuts, Pump.Science's native tokens $Rif and $Uro dropped over 95% from their market cap peaks of 240m and 140m respectively. ① Users list a compound alongside a token on the Pump.Science platform.

② Users can buy and sell tokens on a Bonding Curve with parameters identical to Pump.fun to support research into the compound. 79% of the tokens are issued along the Bonding Curve. When the token market cap reaches 303 Sol (with 85 Sol in circulation), the Bonding Curve closes. 82 Sol of liquidity will migrate to Meteora for trading. 3 Sol will be used to cover associated worm experiment costs.

Notably, the Pump.Science new launchpad will implement a dynamic fee structure designed to deter sniper bots and prevent automated exploits during initial token sales. Specific measures include:

① Bot deterrence: The dynamic fee structure is specifically designed to reduce front-running by sniper bots.

② Early risk: Fees are extremely high (99.99%) during the first 150 slots (approximately 2 minutes), drastically reducing the number of tokens received by early buyers.

③ Activity monitoring: Between slots 150–250 (2–4 minutes), fees decrease rapidly.

The whitepaper also states that all new compounds must airdrop a certain portion to builders and holders of $Rif and $Uro. At 3:19 AM on February 9, Pump.Science's official Twitter commented on its upcoming compound project $EGS @EGCGxSFN, saying, "Earning trust is the most admirable thing." Scrolling through Twitter reveals that Pump.Science’s new compound project $EGS quietly opened a 24-hour presale window on February 7. On-chain data shows that $EGS’s presale wallet ultimately raised 1,223 Sol by block height 319172095. More strikingly, the team announced they would return 91.87% of the funds raised, retaining only 100 Sol for token launch and liquidity support. This "overfunded refund" strategy mirrors the popular $pain project, but EGS sets a precedent in both action and scale within the DeSci space. The EGS team declared on Twitter: "In 24 hours, no marketing, no whales—we proved trust in science." They further announced that EGS will reward DeSci’s diamond-handed supporters with a 100k market cap opening, and valid contributions during presale already yielded roughly triple profits.

EGS is the abbreviation for the compounds Epigallocatechin Gallate and Sulforaphane.
