AI Agents are booming—how to buy the dip?
"Bottom-fishing logic" is important.
Author: Haotian
What? Do you still need logic to bottom-fish? Yes, absolutely. For new retail users entering the market, having a "bottom-fishing logic" is crucial—especially because high volatility will remain the norm before the main uptrend of the "On-Chain Spring" truly arrives. So how should one strategically accumulate AI Agent-related assets?
1) Focus on leading projects with strong market consensus:
These projects typically enjoy high market热度 (heat), react fastest during rallies, and often have relatively strong support even during sharp drops. Having survived multiple market cycles while maintaining stable market cap levels, they tend to attract large capital inflows. Moreover, whether an entire sector is genuinely gaining momentum usually depends on the performance of these blue-chip players—such as $AIXBT, #ai16z, $arc, #Griffain, #Virtual, and $GAME.
2) Target projects with unique narratives and consistent technical or application progress:
Frameworks and protocol standards may have the highest ceilings, but real-world adoption is hard to predict, and technical progress can be slow. If such projects are manipulated behind the scenes, retail investors often struggle to make clear judgments. In contrast, projects with transparent development teams (on-chain "open devs") and uniquely positioned narratives deserve attention—even though they require long-term observation amid significant short-term noise.
Narratives evolve over time, and within each sub-sector, there’s usually one project dominating mindshare. Examples include $Focai in the "chainification" space, $BUZZ / $NEUR in DeFai, $HYPER / $AVA in MetAiverse, $Dreams in gaming, $SENTAI in DePIN, and $SPORE in creative gameplay.
3) Identify projects with clear business models and roadmaps:
Certain projects appear straightforward at first glance, but their growth hinges heavily on operational data. These tend to have modest expectations yet solid fundamentals. If they consistently deliver data-driven growth and service upgrades, they become increasingly compelling.
For instance: $FXN (decentralized API marketplace), $SNAI (serverless AI agent development/deployment platform), $YNE (decentralized academic paper verification), and $WAVE (one-click deployment platform for AI automated trading agents).
4) Seek projects with potential for major shifts in commercial outlook:
I’m particularly optimistic about the future performance of ai16z ecosystem members. As closely tied components under a major AI Agent commercial IP, their evolution could drive narrative leadership and bring substantial surprise upside.
Take $METAV—the story might not be over. If its narrative as an "AI PumpFun" platform materializes, the potential could be enormous. Similarly,
#DegenAI could quickly close valuation gaps with peers if it delivers standout product experience post-launch—boosted by the “full suite” ecosystem advantage. Another example: #Zerebro, which had a promising commercial trajectory but shows a stark disconnect between fundamentals and secondary-market price action.
That's all.
Of course, other investment-oriented bottom-fishing strategies exist—like deeply oversold projects, those that have undergone thorough washouts, projects with healthy token distribution, strong community backing, or established veterans with dominant mindshare.
The above shares only a few representative projects I’ve filtered based on the evolving AI Agent narrative. This is for informational purposes only, not investment advice.
Everyone should develop their own investment framework. In pursuing PVE-style value investing, avoid adopting a purely PVP mindset. Once you lose sight of a project’s developmental trajectory, short-term volatility can easily throw you off course. Remember: in the short run, many fundamentally strong projects may underperform compared to heavily manipulated pumps.
