1) Grand Opening
Kicking off the Shenzhen event, Flames, Head of TON APAC DeFi & Infra, will deliver a keynote titled "TON Ecosystem Launches BTCFi," offering deep insights into the latest developments within the TON ecosystem and its strategic vision for BTCFi. From technological innovation to ecosystem growth, Flames will explain how the BTCFi Hackathon will accelerate the adoption of tgBTC on TON, exploring new frontiers in Bitcoin-TON integration. This session not only reveals the grand vision of BTCFi but also provides clear direction for participants—making it one of the highlights of the event.
2) Securing the TON Ecosystem: TonBit’s Role in BTCFi Security
Paul Li, Co-founder of TonBit—one of the co-hosts—will present on “TonBit Security Practice,” sharing TonBit’s extensive experience and expertise in blockchain security. As a leading Security Assurance Provider (SAP) in the TON ecosystem, Paul will detail how TonBit supports developers through comprehensive audits, vulnerability detection, and smart contract optimization. This BTCFi Hackathon focuses on real-world applications and deployment of tgBTC within the TON blockchain ecosystem, creating fertile ground for next-generation blockchain innovation. Developers and teams will brainstorm and build around the following core themes:

Create future liquidity solutions for tgBTC to enhance trading depth in decentralized markets while ensuring broad usability on centralized platforms.

Enable seamless integration of tgBTC into everyday use cases for both Web2 and Web3 users worldwide, breaking down geographical and technical barriers.

Bonus criteria: Projects that adopt TON Connect standards and use Telegram Mini-Apps as their primary interface will have an advantage, leveraging Telegram’s massive user base for rapid user acquisition.
Eligibility Requirements:

Only new teams and projects are eligible.

Projects must be built on the TON tech stack (Tact or FunC).

Must comply with laws, intellectual property rights, and third-party rights.

At least one team member must attend the award ceremony in person.
3. Event Timeline
Spanning nearly three months—from workshops and mentorship sessions to final pitches and showcase at HK Web3 Festival—participants will receive full support from concept to execution.
