From Alpha information broadcasting to TEE support, which narratives in the 2025 AI Agent sector should you position yourself in?
Don't limit yourself to a single ecosystem.

How to Get Ahead in the AI Agent Tokenization Wave?
In October, Virtuals introduced the concept of AI agent tokenization. It was a bold move, but back then most people weren't interested—because the market wasn't ready yet.
Now, however, many of Virtuals' agents have delivered returns of 50x or even 100x, instantly capturing everyone’s attention.
But remember: those 50x–100x opportunities didn’t happen by chance. If you want similar outsized gains, you need to position yourself early. You must have a clear investment thesis and the patience to wait for your moment before others catch on.
If you’re entering now, you might still achieve 5x–10x returns—which is solid, but pales in comparison to the 50x–100x early movers earned. In hindsight, everything looks obvious, right?
So, is it too late now?
No—but you need to be more strategic. What was considered "alpha" two months ago is no longer alpha today. The Virtuals ecosystem has become crowded, and the low-hanging fruit have already been picked.
What should you do next?
First, don’t limit yourself to just one ecosystem. Whether it's Base or Solana, Virtuals or ai16z—every ecosystem offers unique opportunities worth exploring.
This isn’t about picking sides. You don’t need to champion one ecosystem while dismissing another. Instead, look for value wherever potential exists.
For example, I actively monitor multiple ecosystems including Base and Solana for agent investment opportunities. While I have a certain preference for Virtuals (and often tweet in support), I always keep an open mind.
The key is flexibility and identifying real value—not getting caught up in tribalism.
How to Pick a High-Potential Agent?
A successful agent needs two core elements: uniqueness and utility. Without utility, agent tokens risk becoming like most meme coins—flashing brightly before fading into obscurity.
An excellent agent must deliver tangible value. Bonus points if the team masters the art of capturing attention:
-
Create a compelling narrative or brand identity around the agent.
-
Launch new features quickly and consistently, maintaining innovation momentum.
-
Actively listen to and meet community needs and expectations.
When these factors come together, the agent stands a strong chance at achieving product-market fit (PMF). Teams that continue executing and innovating after finding PMF—like @aixbt_agent—can dominate their niche and become central pillars of the broader ecosystem.
Currently Popular Agent Narratives and Use Cases:
1. Alpha Generation & Delivery
Agents that provide trading signals and market insights are in high demand.
Examples:
-
@aixbt_agent: The gold standard in alpha agents.
-
Other promising alpha agents:

2. Investment DAOs
Hedge-fund-style DAOs led by humans or AI agents that invest via treasuries.
Examples:
-
@daosdotworld: Ecosystem on Base
-
Ecosystem on Virtuals, including @Vader_AI_, @wai_combinator, @sekoia_virtuals, and @aixCB_Vc
-
@daosdotfun: Ecosystem on Solana
Advantages of investment DAOs:
-
Provide credibility and validation for high-quality agents.
-
Offer distribution channels for portfolio projects.
-
Grant access to early and discounted OTC token rounds, often yielding outsized returns.

The Future of AI Agents: How to Catch the Next 100x Opportunity?
3. On-Chain Trading: From Small Capital to Massive Wealth
On-chain trading remains a hot topic within the Crypto Twitter (CT) community. We love seeing someone turn $1,000 into $1,000,000—and we're even more captivated by the grit and strategy behind it.
The first wave of on-chain trading agents tapped into this excitement. They focus on portfolio growth and openly share their trading frameworks and strategies. Though still early, several promising projects are emerging:
-
@Gekko_Agent: A self-improving trading agent built on Virtuals, leveraging @getaxal's infrastructure for efficient execution.
-
@BigTonyXBT: Built on Cod3x, focused on automated execution for major assets.
-
@ProjectPlutus_: Known for its playful ticker $PPCOIN, this agent combines real-time analysis with automated dollar-cost averaging (DCA). On-chain trading agents are expected to take center stage in Q1 and Q2 2025.
4. Developer-Focused Tools: Fueling Ecosystem Growth
As the AI agent ecosystem expands, demand for developer tools is growing rapidly. Innovative projects are already stepping in to fill the gap:
-
@soleng_agent: Monitors pull requests in code repositories, performs preliminary code reviews, and serves as an AI judge in hackathons.
-
@h4ck_terminal: A white-hat agent for bug bounties and security audits.
-
@CertaiK_Agent: Focuses on security audits for agents.

5. Privacy & Confidentiality: Trusted Execution Environments (TEE)
Pioneered on Solana by @marvin_tong and @PhalaNetwork, Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) technology opens the door to fully autonomous agents.
Innovative applications and experiments include:
-
"Rug-proof ICO" agents: Using smart contracts to prevent investment fraud.
-
@aipool_tee and @sporedotfun: Agents with hereditary traits that can pass characteristics to offspring.
-
@deepwormxyz: A neural network-based experimental project. Currently, there are no TEE agents on Virtuals, but the first TEE agent is expected to surge in value rapidly.
6. Positioning Early for Future Narratives
Anticipating the next big narrative is key to achieving 100x+ returns. This is exactly why I entered when Virtuals’ market cap was under $30 million.
Emerging narratives to watch in 2025 include:
-
DeFi agents
-
NSFW agents
-
Robotics
-
Data-driven agents
-
Gameified agents
-
Swarm / collective intelligence
-
Infrastructure development
If you’ve been tracking these trends, you may already have seen 5x–20x returns from some of these early projects.
