Morph officially launches mainnet, ushering in a new era of consumer-grade public chains
Over 6 million addresses registered during the testnet phase, more than 100 million transactions successfully executed, over 200 projects successfully deployed, and more than 1 million community members actively participated.

October 30, 2024 – Morph, a consumer-grade public blockchain dedicated to advancing the global adoption of blockchain technology, today announced the official launch of its mainnet on Ethereum. This significant milestone marks a crucial step forward in Morph’s mission to build a “Consumer Layer,” extending its scope beyond traditional L2 solutions.
Morph’s Consumer Layer directly addresses fundamental challenges facing blockchain adoption today, enabling ecosystem participants to transact real-world assets seamlessly. Projects currently under development on the Morph platform can now smoothly migrate to the mainnet and continue expanding their technologies, further accelerating the growth of the consumer layer.
“The launch of the Morph mainnet is a pivotal moment in our journey to bring blockchain technology to the masses,” said Cecilia Hsueh, Co-Founder and CEO of Morph. “Today’s DApps are not yet optimized for everyday users, and Morph is committed to changing that. This milestone advances our vision of building a decentralized, scalable, and secure on-chain infrastructure, providing developers and users with the tools they need to create and engage with the next generation of consumer-centric DApps.”
Morph Consumer Network: A Converged Ecosystem of Technology and Services
The Morph Consumer Layer is a carefully designed ecosystem integrating technology, services, and features. By combining Optimistic Rollup and ZK Rollup technologies, it enhances both security and performance. While mainstream blockchain adoption has been hindered by regulatory, scalability, and performance issues, Morph’s newly launched mainnet offers developers a scalable, secure, and crypto-native experience that is also accessible to non-crypto users—unlocking immense potential for consumer-focused blockchain applications.
The launch of the Morph mainnet follows the successful deployment on the Holesky testnet, which introduced key upgrades such as integration of Optimistic zkVM with EIP-4844, helping reduce transaction costs and enabling faster withdrawals via improved cross-chain bridge mechanisms. During the testnet phase, over 6 million wallet addresses were registered, more than 100 million transactions were executed, over 200 projects were deployed, and over 1 million community members participated.
“We aim to become the one-stop platform where global developers can build and succeed,” said Azeem Khan, Co-Founder and COO of Morph. “While technical decentralization is essential, developers often struggle to access the resources they need to build, launch, and scale their projects. That’s the challenge we’re solving. Now is the time to build a blockchain truly built for developers, led by developers. That’s Morph.”
Morph’s Vision: From Technical Narrative to Consumer Layer
Morph’s vision is to transform the traditional blockchain industry from a technically focused niche into a mainstream practical tool. Unlike other blockchains centered solely on technology, Morph prioritizes the needs and experiences of consumer-grade users. To achieve this, Morph provides developers with core resources including funding support, incubation, acceleration, and market strategy, ensuring that consumer needs remain at the forefront.
As a key part of this vision, Morph recently launched the Centralized Exchange Coalition, uniting top-tier exchanges such as Bitget, HTX, MEXC, and Poloniex. This coalition supports developer projects with market promotion, user acquisition, and fundraising, driving the next wave of blockchain innovation through a comprehensive support ecosystem.
About Morph
Morph is a global consumer-grade public blockchain designed to serve as a distribution hub for the resources developers need to build and scale mass-market applications. Leveraging a hybrid approach combining ZK and Optimistic Rollups, along with a decentralized sequencer network, Morph unlocks infinite application possibilities for mainstream users.
Morph is committed to becoming the preferred blockchain choice for consumer-grade application developers. As an early investor in Morph, leading cryptocurrency exchange Bitget will continue working alongside other investors to shape the future of the Morph consumer ecosystem.
