Sui Developer Product Portfolio Overview: More Than Just a Public Blockchain
Deepbook surges 7x at launch, SuiNS TGE imminent, will Walrus also launch a token?
Written by: Alex Liu, Foresight News
The Sui blockchain was developed by Mysten Labs. Most of the team members at Mysten Labs are former employees from Facebook (Meta), Apple, and Microsoft. The founders include:

-
CEO (Chief Executive Officer): Evan Cheng
-
CTO (Chief Technology Officer): Sam Blackshear, creator of the Move programming language
-
CPO (Chief Product Officer): Adeniyi Abiodun, the most socially active co-founder of Sui
-
Chief Cryptographer: Kostas Chalkias
-
Chief Scientist: George Danezis
Mysten Labs aims to build "tomorrow's internet," with the Sui blockchain as its core product. Beyond the blockchain, they have also developed other protocols, such as Deepbook—a decentralized order book protocol that airdropped tokens to Sui ecosystem users and surged 7x in its first week—and additional tools targeting both institutions and end-users.
Given the strong wealth effect, let’s take a closer look at all their products!
First and foremost is the Sui blockchain itself—no need to elaborate further here. Next up: Deepbook.
Deepbook

Deepbook is a centralized order book protocol designed to enhance DeFi trading efficiency and serve as Sui’s liquidity layer. Its key differentiators include:
-
High Throughput: Built on the Sui network, Deepbook can process thousands of transactions per second, enabling fast execution.
-
Order Matching: Supports advanced matching algorithms for optimal trade execution, reduced slippage, and improved liquidity.
-
Transparency and Security: Ensures all trades occur on-chain, fostering trust and accountability within the ecosystem.
-
Composable DeFi: Integrates with other DeFi protocols to drive innovation and expand user options. Major Sui-based aggregators like Hop, Aftermath, Cetus, and 7K are already integrated with Deepbook.
Deepbook recently launched its v3 version alongside its token release. While protocol adoption is still in early stages and trading volume remains notably lower than mainstream Sui DEXs like Cetus, its token DEEP reached a peak FDV above $900 million upon listing—surpassing the combined FDVs of those DEXs and rivaling high-profile projects like Scroll. The backing of the “Mysten Labs team” clearly plays a significant role here.
Enoki

Enoki is an enterprise-focused platform aiming to enhance customer engagement through Web3 technologies. Key features include:
-
Personalized Interactions: Leverages blockchain to deliver customized user experiences.
-
Seamless Integration: Easily integrates with existing systems, allowing enterprises to upgrade customer experience without major overhauls.
-
Data Ownership: Empowers customers by giving them control over their data, building trust and loyalty.
-
Innovative Features: Uses decentralized tools for loyalty programs, rewards, and community-building initiatives.

Kiosk

Kiosk is a decentralized system built for commercial applications on Sui, featuring:
-
Shared Ownership: Kiosk objects are owned collectively, allowing parties to store assets and list them for sale while retaining ownership until purchase occurs.
-
Customizable Transaction Features: Supports various transaction models including auctions, enabling creators to flexibly design their sales processes.
-
Custom Policies: Creators can set rules per transaction, such as royalties or required actions during transfer.
Kiosk is natively integrated into the Sui framework and available to any developer looking to enhance their commerce applications.
SuiPlay

SuiPlay0X1 is the first gaming handheld integrating Web3, heavily promoted by the founding team of Sui. It is currently in pre-sale and expected to ship in the first half of next year.
In addition, FUD—the OG meme coin on Sui—has announced it will airdrop tokens to holders of the first batch of SuiPlay0X1 devices, with the official page hinting at “exclusive rewards.”

SuiNS

SuiNS is a digital identity protocol on Sui. You can link avatars to domains and create IPFS websites. Additionally, SuiNS uses the @ symbol instead of the traditional .sui Web3 domain format—for example, @google instead of google.sui—making it easier for users to understand and promoting subdomain adoption. For instance, after purchasing @google, Google could distribute subdomains like user1@google or user2@google to users.

SuiNS has distributed NFT vouchers via airdrop to eligible domain holders, which can be redeemed for tokens at TGE. If you qualify, you’ll see a notification in your Sui Wallet. Given Deepbook’s precedent of high valuation, the pricing potential for SuiNS tokens remains highly speculative.
If you followed the instructions provided by this author back in April, you could have earned up to tens of thousands of tokens. (Recap: With the Summit Approaching, Rumors Abound: Is Sui Entering a New Airdrop Season?)
Walrus

Arweave, the decentralized storage network, launched its compute layer AO, successfully reviving AR’s price, ecosystem activity, and public interest—an impressive turnaround.
As a general-purpose computing chain, what impact will Sui’s launch of its own decentralized storage network Walrus create?
