Some argue that ApeChain has enjoyed a natural meme-driven traffic advantage since its inception. Others suggest that Yuga ecosystem users—including BAYC holders—are indifferent to material gains and may not care much about ApeChain’s future development.
On October 20, APE token prices surged from $0.75 to $1.72 following the launch of ApeChain's mainnet on Arbitrum Orbit L3 and its official cross-chain bridge. Although the price later pulled back slightly to around $1.55, it still achieved an over 100% gain within just over a day. Concurrently, floor prices for Yuga Labs NFT collections such as BAYC and MAYC also rose. Notably, according to monitoring by Yujing, one address purchased the CURTIS token for $1,140 and has since realized unrealized profits of $1.46 million.
Admittedly, APE’s current price remains far below its all-time high of $28. However, ApeChain has undoubtedly injected new vitality into APE. It now serves as the native gas token on ApeChain and occupies a central role across the Yuga Labs ecosystem—used for transaction fees, voting rights in the ApeCoin DAO, and as a payment method within Yuga Labs games and real-world (IRL) purchases.
In addition, through its partnership with LayerZero, APE has been deeply integrated with LayerZero’s OFT standard, enabling seamless transfers of APE across ApeChain, Ethereum, and Arbitrum. LayerZero further revealed that a native yield mechanism for ApeCoin, built with Decent, allows users to earn yield directly from their ApeCoin balances automatically—without any manual operations—while maintaining full cross-chain interoperability.
However, we have observed that some meme coins on ApeChain have cooled down after brief spikes, with only two meme coins (CURTIS and BORED) currently maintaining market caps above $10 million.
Data from Dune shows that asset inflows into ApeChain exhibited a significant downward trend just one day after its launch. If ApeChain fails to continuously attract and retain capital, its momentum and liquidity could be difficult to sustain.
That said, after exploring the ApeChain ecosystem, I’ve identified several innovative projects worth watching. This article compiles seven notable ApeChain ecosystem projects.
Notable Projects in the ApeChain Ecosystem
Ape Express
Ape Express is a meme token launchpad similar to Pump.fun. When a new token reaches a market cap of $131,180, all liquidity from the bonding curve is deposited into Camelot and then burned.
Ape Express reported that within 24 hours of launch, 2,640 tokens were created on the platform, with 55 completing the bonding curve and generating over $50 million in trading volume on ApeChain.
Beyond this, Ape Express plans to introduce a points-based rewards program to incentivize early adopters—including traders and token creators. According to official documentation, FUCKIT tokens will be distributed weekly based on accumulated points. Currently, no further information about the FUCKIT token is available.
Ape Express also offers a perk for Bored Ape or Mutant Ape NFT holders: tokens launched on the platform can airdrop meme tokens to NFT holders.

Camelot
Camelot is the first DEX to support Ape Express. Previously, Camelot already supported Arbitrum and multiple L2 and L3 networks built on Arbitrum. The Camelot token currently has a circulating market cap of $17 million and an FDV of $75 million.
Saru
According to Ape Express’s website, Saru and Camelot are the first exchanges listed to support the platform, though Saru has not yet launched. Based on Saru’s official information, Saru is a native ApeCoin decentralized exchange protocol backed by Sushi Labs.

Top Trader
Top Trader is a trading simulation game platform that hosts one tournament daily. Users must deposit 10 APE as an entry fee, which goes into a prize pool competed for by leveraged traders. Each participant starts with 10,000 units of USDN, the platform’s in-game simulated currency. On Top Trader, leverage ranges from 100x to 1,000x. All trades are simulated, and the maximum loss for any user is limited to the 10 APE entry fee.
In addition, to enhance user experience, Top Trader abstracts all on-chain activities using Yuga ID, powered by Privy.

Ape Names
Ape Names, set to launch at 22:00 on October 22 by D3, aims to bridge traditional internet infrastructure and Web3. D3, a next-generation identity company, plans to apply for the .APE top-level domain (TLD), initially supporting domain minting and trading on ApeChain.
In a forum proposal, a D3 team member stated that D3 intends to provide corresponding .APE domains to all BAYC and MAYC NFT holders (e.g., MACHI * APE, 7065 * APE). Members of the ApeCoin community will have priority access to register other *APE domains before they become publicly available. D3 commits to returning 50% of all revenue generated to the ApeCoin DAO.
It should be noted, however, that applying for a TLD is no simple task. No individual or entity can directly own a TLD. ICANN grants exclusive operational and profit rights for each TLD to specific organizations via contractual agreements, with contracts automatically renewing every 10 years. D3 indicated that the next ICANN application cycle may open as early as 2025.
