The airdrop includes users who earned LRS-BTC points by participating in Liquid Restaking from February 29 to April 14, 24:00 (UTC+8).

Users who earned LRS-BTC points through participation in Liquid Restaking will receive airdrops from both MerlinChain and BounceBit at a 50%:50% ratio. The first 50% release of the MERL airdrop in April was fully completed on April 22. Participants can check their spot accounts to receive the tokens.
Currently, participating in HTX’s liquidity restaking (Liquid Restaking) allows users to continue earning airdrops from leading projects such as BounceBit, EigenLayer, and Puffer. More restaking project airdrops will be added soon—earlier participation leads to greater airdrop rewards.
HTX distributes MERL rewards consistent with on-chain rules, with 50% released in April
This airdrop includes users who participated in Liquid Restaking and earned LRS-BTC points between February 29 and April 14, 2024, 24:00 (UTC+8).
Release Rules and Conversion Ratio
MerlinChain release rules: BTC staked on MerlinChain earns Merlin Points daily (points issuance ended April 14, 2024), which can be converted into MERL tokens. The MERL airdrop will be released monthly at the following ratios: 50%, 25%, 12.5%, 6.25%, 3.125%, and 3.125%.
HTX Liquid Restaking conversion ratio: 3.5089 LRS-BTC = 1 MERL (1 BTC share per day ≈ 142.5 MERL). Total eligible MERL airdrop amount: A user's total eligible MERL airdrop = (total LRS-BTC points earned by the user from participation until April 14) × 0.5 / conversion ratio.
Same high yields, but simpler operations with HTX Liquid Restaking
Currently, the airdrop rewards from HTX Liquid Restaking are nearly identical to on-chain yields. For example, using 2 BTC throughout the campaign is equivalent to earning returns from 1 BTC staked on MerlinChain and 1 BTC staked on BounceBit. If 2 BTC earns 1,000 points per day, then 500 points (equivalent to 1 BTC) come from MerlinChain staking, translating to approximately 142.5 MERL. On-chain, 1 BTC per day yields about 142.8 MERL, resulting in annualized yields of roughly 88.02% and 88.24%, respectively.
Note that reward redemption timing depends on when the respective on-chain projects conduct their first airdrops. To facilitate future reward claims, LRS points will soon be upgraded to corresponding project-specific points and supported for redemption directly on the platform page.
