OKX Ventures announces strategic investment in Renzo, a leading Ethereum restaking protocol on Eigenlayer
In collaboration with OKX Ventures, Renzo will accelerate its development and implement EigenDA's data availability solution.

OKX Ventures today announced its investment in Renzo Protocol, a liquid restaking protocol and a new application in the DeFi space. Renzo is already live on EigenLayer’s mainnet as a native restaking product, with the key advantage of full staking capacity—unconstrained by EigenLayer's LST deposit limits.
EigenLayer is an Ethereum-based middleware protocol that shares Ethereum’s consensus security while introducing restaking capabilities. Users can restake ETH or LSD tokens such as stETH into other protocols or services requiring security and trust, thereby earning dual yields and governance rights. This financing round for Renzo marks OKX Ventures’ first publicly announced project within the EigenLayer ecosystem. Renzo entered its mainnet test phase one month ago, on December 18, 2023, during which it attracted over 2,000 users depositing a total of $20 million. The test phase ran smoothly with rapid growth, establishing Renzo as one of the most promising restaking protocols in the EigenLayer ecosystem.
