Froganas: The Phoenix Reborn – A 100x Solana NFT New Hotspot
It is the creators' perseverance that has brought Froganas a rebirth from the ashes.

The Solana ecosystem has recently been extremely hot. Beyond the emergence of many highly lucrative meme tokens, the NFT market has also seen a broad rally over the past two days. Among these, one of the most talked-about NFT projects is Froganas.
Froganas launched on December 22 at a price of 0.069 SOL with a total supply of 5,555, selling out within just two minutes. According to data from Tensor, Solana's NFT marketplace, Froganas' floor price today briefly reached 14.47 SOL—a surge of over 14,000% compared to its mint price.

But before achieving such remarkable success, this project had already "died." It was the creator's perseverance that allowed Froganas to rise from the ashes.
"Death"
The project’s original founder was someone named "Blake." The creator, @ThinTallTee, was completely blindsided by Blake's rug pull—he never expected that after nearly two months of hard work, Blake would abandon the project and abscond with nearly $9,000.
Blake had told @ThinTallTee that conducting a presale was merely a way to build a loyal base of early supporters. Tee didn't think much of it, assuming it might be a marketing strategy to cope with the then-challenging market conditions. But immediately after the sale of 200 Froganas in the presale, Blake shut down the project’s Discord server and vanished with the funds.
For Tee, who had poured immense effort into the artwork, this was deeply painful. However, he didn’t give up. Determined to set things right, he decided to compensate those supporters who were rug-pulled through an airdrop, and committed to delivering the complete artistic vision to the entire Solana NFT community.
Rebirth
Tee probably never imagined that the reborn Froganas would trigger such intense FOMO. Undoubtedly, the project stands out uniquely on Solana—pure art. In an environment where token launches dominate and even many DeFi projects issue NFTs, Froganas feels refreshingly authentic.

With a focus purely on art, Froganas adopts Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address motto—“of the people, by the people, for the people”—as its slogan.
However, I believe the main driver behind the FOMO is likely the coordinated promotion by BAYC/MAYC holders on Twitter. Notably, @machibigbrother posted an ambiguous tweet late last night—possibly adding fuel to the Froganas frenzy.

Machibigbrother: “I’ve got my eye on a PFP collection on Solana—I need to figure out how to buy it.”

Conclusion
While the story of Froganas is quite touching, the primary reason for the FOMO is ultimately the red-hot Solana ecosystem. We've seen similar rallies before—community-driven hype, combined with high-profile rare mints selling for big prices, like Gruffters, which I previously mentioned in an article. As for the project’s long-term sustainability and how far it can go, we should remain cautious and avoid blind optimism.

With the market so heated, there's no need to feel anxious. Take your time to research other projects—plenty of opportunities still await.
