Web3 Gaming Platform Portal Airdrop Participation Guide

On November 28, the Web3 gaming platform Portal announced plans to airdrop its upcoming token and released details about its first-season campaign. $PORTAL is described as a cross-ecosystem gaming token connecting diverse gaming experiences across major blockchains including Solana, Avalanche, Klaytn, and Polygon. To date, the announcement tweet has garnered over 1.8 million views.
Portal is a Web3 game aggregation platform. According to official information, it integrates over 100 games such as DeFi Kingdoms and SpaceNationOL, which together have raised more than $12 billion. In addition to being used within games on the platform, $PORTAL will also aggregate marketplaces like Magic Eden, serving as a universal token for all blockchain games connected via Portal.
Airdrop Mechanism
Users can earn airdrop eligibility through an event called "Crystal Dash." Anyone who participates in, creates, or shares content related to Portal can earn points. These points increase their level, and each level-up grants "crystal fragments." Fragments can be combined into crystals, and the total number of crystals held determines the amount of tokens received in the airdrop.
Posting tweets and earning engagement boosts points. Points contribute to leveling up, and each upgrade yields crystal fragments. Fragments can be synthesized into crystals. Ultimately, the number of crystals a user possesses will determine their airdrop allocation.
Additionally, Crystal Dash operates in weekly seasons, with Season 1 launching on November 28. Each season may feature different activities and point rules, and accumulated points will reset at the end of every season, though user levels will be retained.
How to Participate
Notably, to prevent bot interference, Crystal Dash imposes eligibility restrictions: participating Twitter accounts must be older than three months and have at least 100 followers.
Visit the website and connect your Twitter account. After binding, click "Share on Twitter" in the pop-up interface.

You'll then be redirected to a draft tweet mentioning @Portalcoin. Click "Post," then like, comment, retweet, and quote-retweet your own post. Engagement on your published tweet generates points: +2 per view, +10 per like, +20 per comment, +25 per retweet, and +30 per quote retweet.

On Crystaldash.co, users can view their points dashboard, where engagement metrics from their tweets are recorded.

More Information
In recent months, Portal has continuously expanded its list of partners. On October 12, Portal announced integration with Polygon; on October 26, it integrated Avalanche. It appears that Portal aims to become the Steam of Web3—a large-scale platform bridging Web3 and gamers worldwide.
Portal claims its team comprises members from top-tier game studios who have contributed to groundbreaking game projects. Russell Hanson, a project advisor, was previously founding partner and CSO of Consensys' Endjinn AI team.

The airdrop timeline has not yet been announced, nor has Portal revealed which blockchain the $PORTAL token will be deployed on. On November 15, Portal announced a community private sale for $PORTAL, seeking accredited angel investors willing to contribute at least 10 ETH to participate in the presale.
According to Portal's official website, the platform will allow players to log into supported blockchain games using various Web2 accounts, view full inventories of their in-game NFT items, discover new games, and connect with friends via social features.
