Sponsored by Alchemy Pay, Allinfra, Aki Network, Ethereum Climate Platform, EthSign, OctantApp, Smart Token Labs, and VitaDAO, with special support from crypto media Bankless, the event covered topics including open-source technology, blockchain applications in environmental protection, fair funding mechanisms, and how Web3 technologies can revolutionize the education sector. Jeff Ren, Partner at OKX Ventures, and Azeem Khan, Head of Impact at Gitcoin, delivered keynote speeches and discussed several of these topics together.

Notably, Schelling Point is a conference led by the Gitcoin community—an open-source platform on Ethereum—focusing on technology, culture, humanity, and climate change. It is held annually in different regions around the world, and this marks its first event in Asia. Gitcoin aims to reward and incentivize developers, designers, and others contributing to the cryptocurrency ecosystem, with a primary mission to help open-source projects secure funding and encourage broader participation in their development.
The conference also hosted discussions and panel sessions on various other themes such as digital innovation in green finance, Web3 grants, and gaming. During the panel discussion titled "How to Onboard the Next Billion Users," Nidhi Chanbhag, Head of Business Development at Uniswap, emphasized the importance of usability and security in Web3 products, as well as the use of real-world assets on blockchains, such as carbon credits. Min Teo, Managing Partner at Ethereal Ventures, expressed excitement during another panel about payment infrastructure and expanding the adoption of Web3.
