Navigating Web3 tides with focused insightsTaiwan's largest blockchain week and NFT festival in 2022, NFT Taipei, is set to grandly launch across multiple venues in Taipei from December 9 to December 18! The event will feature three major highlights: the OneOffsNFT International Art Expo, the NFT Taipei International Forum, and NFT Play Taipei. During the festival period, over 20 satellite events will take place alongside collaborations with more than 100 local Taipei businesses leveraging NFT integration, expecting to attract over 100,000 visitors!
This year’s NFT Taipei will gather dozens of top leaders from the Web3 world, including Yat Siu, co-founder of blockchain gaming giant Animoca Brands; Fan Shen, Vice President of Game Partnerships at Dapper Labs; Kevin Lin, co-founder of the leading game streaming platform Twitch; Sebastien Borget, COO of globally renowned metaverse The Sandbox; and Julie Chou, COO of GASH Point under Taiwan’s Gamania Group—bringing together numerous industry pioneers.
The event will also unite over a hundred influential emerging artists, trendsetters, and blue-chip NFT projects to create multi-dimensional NFT art experiences, collectively advancing Taiwan’s NFT ecosystem onto the global stage.
NFT Taipei Three Main Highlights
｜Second Edition of OneOffsNFT International Art Expo
The inaugural "OneOffs NFT International Art Expo" launched last year with the theme "Metaverse Big Bang," bridging native art with "meta-native" NFTs. Riding the global wave, it attracted over 30,000 visitors.
The second edition of OneOffs will once again partner with W Taipei, exploring whether NFTs and the art market will ultimately collapse into a bubble or successfully transform and evolve through its theme “Butterfly Effect.” For the first time, the exhibition will include generative art and interactive art installations, aiming to engage audiences through technology, creating an immersive experience where physical and digital realms dynamically interact across time and space.
In addition to inviting over 100 prominent local Taiwanese artists such as Yi-Ping Yang, Yi-Cheng Pan, Yu-Chia Chang, Pu Chen, and Tai-Hua Chen, the expo will also welcome emerging artists from 30 countries. This year further expands to include overseas and domestic blue-chip NFT projects and communities—for example, CloneX, the collaboration between Nike's Web3 fashion brand RTFKT and Japanese contemporary art master Takashi Murakami, and PARTIST, a derivative NFT project based on the international blue-chip BAYC—will all make their debut at the event.
On the execution side, the expo is led by OneOffs CEO Enoch Ho, COO Julia Dong, and NFT Consultant Justine Lu, working alongside international curators and professional advisors to craft a multidimensional artistic experience for NFT Taipei and explore new frontiers in the art market!

This year’s NFT Taipei merges two major thematic forums: the “BGP Global Blockchain Gaming Forum” and “MetaCommerce: Metaverse Business Applications.” Nearly 50 renowned figures from the Web3 sector will be invited to discuss the future of NFTs and share exclusive insights on gaming and metaverse development.

- Yat Siu / Co-Founder and Chairman of Animoca Brands, an early investor in numerous blue-chip NFT projects, with the company valued at $6 billion.
- Sebastien Borget / Co-Founder and COO of The Sandbox, a key driver behind the metaverse boom, with a valuation of $4 billion.

To encourage public engagement with diverse NFT applications, during the NFT Taipei event, participants can use the “Digital Lucky Bag” airdropped by NFT Taipei to enjoy special perks, gifts, or discounts at over 30 partnered brands, restaurants, bars, and department stores across Taipei via NFT OMO (online-merge-offline) interactive experiences.

This year’s NFT Taipei is organized by the Taiwan NFT Association (shortened to NADA, NFT Application & Development Association)—a coalition formed by outstanding teams from Taiwan across sectors including public blockchains, auction houses, gaming, art, music, and social platforms.
