Blackbird, founded by the CEO of Resy, is a disruptive Web3-based social dining platform. They are dedicated to building a direct and deep bridge between restaurants and diners through NFTs and token governance, enabling more meaningful and sustained interactions between both parties.
To drive the future economy of dining, Blackbird has launched its own platform token, $FLY. This tradable token aims to incentivize mutually beneficial behaviors among platform users, thereby transforming the economic model of restaurant-customer engagement.
Currently, Blackbird has successfully partnered with six New York City restaurants, including chain brands and mid-to-high-end dining establishments. It has also launched an "eat to earn" program, where each check-in rewards 2,500 $FLY.
In a seed funding round at the end of last year, Blackbird successfully raised $11 million, co-led by Multicoin, Union Square Ventures, and Shine Capital.
