TechFlow news, September 26 — According to Fortune, cryptocurrency exchange Kraken completed a $500 million funding round this month at a $15 billion valuation. Co-CEO Arjun Sethi confirmed the news. The round was self-determined by Kraken, with investors including asset management firms, venture capital firms, and Tribe Capital, where Sethi is based. This funding is seen as Kraken's final preparation for an IPO expected in 2026. Kraken reportedly generated $411 million in revenue and nearly $80 million in EBITDA during the second quarter of this year.
