TechFlow, September 23 — According to Jinshi Data, Federal Reserve's Goolsbee stated that he believes the Fed's policy is moderately restrictive. The neutral interest rate is 100–125 basis points lower than the current rate. However, currently, he personally is not considering a 50-basis-point rate cut. If progress is being made toward bringing inflation back to target levels, interest rates may be lowered somewhat. Ultimately, the Fed's interest rate could stabilize around 3%, with inflation returning to 2%.
