TechFlow news, September 19 — According to Jinshi Data, Guo Mingming, an analyst at TF International Securities, stated that the collaboration between NVIDIA and Intel has the potential to define the AIPC market and accelerate its development. For NVIDIA, independently developing a Windows on ARM processor involves high uncertainty; for Intel, rapidly enhancing competitiveness in the GPU sector is highly challenging.
A partnership combining CPU and GPU capabilities could create strong synergies and advantages within the PC ecosystem. On the x86/mid-to-low-end/inference AI server fronts, Intel can leverage its vast existing customer base and distribution channels, while NVIDIA holds technological strengths in AI chips, NVLink, and CUDA. Deep technical integration coupled with strong market outreach may enable both companies to capture substantial latent demand.
