TechFlow news, on July 15, Summer.fi announced in a statement that after the Lazy Summer protocol suffered an attack on July 6, the team assessed that there was no feasible path to continue operations, and thus will gradually cease operations. This attack directly caused losses of approximately $6.1 million, and a significant portion of the team members' personal assets were also stored in the attacked vaults, further reducing the operating funds required for rebuilding.
The announcement indicated that the Summer.fi application will remain open until August 31, and the future direction of the Lazy Summer protocol will be decided by the Lazy Summer DAO. Currently, the DAO is working to restore withdrawal and redemption processes for various vaults, including the two vaults previously affected.
