TechFlow news, September 19 — According to The Block, the United States' first exchange-traded funds (ETFs) offering spot exposure to XRP and Dogecoin began trading on Thursday, delivering strong performance.
The REX-Osprey XRP ETF (ticker: XRPR) achieved $37.7 million in trading volume on its first day, setting the highest single-day debut volume record this year. The REX-Osprey DOGE ETF (ticker: DOJE) recorded approximately $17 million in volume, ranking among the top five.
Eric Balchunas, senior ETF analyst at Bloomberg Intelligence, said this is a positive sign for upcoming Securities Act of 1933-compliant ETFs. XRPR reached $24 million in volume within the first 90 minutes of trading—five times the volume of any XRP futures ETF. DOJE achieved nearly $6 million in volume during its first hour.
