TechFlow, September 18 — Plasma officially announced that its mainnet Beta will launch on September 25, 2025, at 8:00 a.m. Eastern Time, alongside the release of its native token XPL. Key highlights:
- Launch day will feature $2 billion in stablecoin liquidity, making it the eighth-largest blockchain by stablecoin liquidity
- XPL token distribution will occur in two batches:
- Non-U.S. participants will receive their allocation at mainnet Beta launch
- U.S. participants will receive their allocation on July 28, 2026 (12 months after public sale ends)
- The platform will reserve 2.5 million XPL tokens for Stablecoin Collective members
- OG members will receive 30,000 XPL
- Stablecoin Collective contributors will receive 15,000 XPL
- Early contributors will receive 7,500 XPL
