On Tuesday local time, the Boeing 747 presidential aircraft carrying Trump and First Lady Melania en route to London was flying over Long Island when air traffic controllers noticed that it and Spirit Airlines Flight 1300 were approaching at similar altitudes with intersecting courses.
After repeated warnings to the Spirit Airlines pilots to alter course went unheeded, controllers issued a stern command: "Turn right immediately by 20 degrees."
