TechFlow news, on September 18, according to 23pds, Chief Information Security Officer at SlowMist Technology, a variant of the AMOS spyware Trojan named Odyssey is distributing fake AI tool ads through platforms such as Twitter, luring users into downloading malicious software disguised as AI tool clients.
The malware primarily uses AppleScript as its payload and can steal sensitive data including system information, browser data, and cryptocurrency wallet information. Users should remain vigilant, avoid downloading AI tools from unofficial channels, and regularly check their device security status.
