TechFlow, September 17 — According to Decrypt, several liberal lawmakers including U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren sent a letter on Wednesday to David Sacks, the White House's AI and cryptocurrency lead, questioning whether he has exceeded the 130-day annual work limit for special government employees. Sacks currently serves simultaneously as a partner at venture capital firm Craft Ventures, a dual role that has sparked ethical concerns. Earlier reports by The New York Times indicated that Sacks played a key role in a U.S.-UAE AI chip deal linked to the Trump family's cryptocurrency platform. Lawmakers are demanding that Sacks provide detailed work records within two weeks.
