TechFlow news, September 16 — According to The Block, Michael Saylor, co-founder of Strategy, Fred Thiel, CEO of Marathon Digital Holdings, and more than ten other cryptocurrency advocates will attend a roundtable in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday to advance legislation for a strategic U.S. Bitcoin reserve.
The roundtable, hosted by Republican Senator Cynthia Lummis and Representative Nick Begich, aims to promote the "Bring Investment to Create Opportunities and New Growth through Innovation, Technology, and Competitiveness Act" (BITCOIN Act). The bill, reintroduced in March this year, plans to acquire one million bitcoins over five years through a "budget-neutral strategy."
