TechFlow, September 11 — According to blockchain data analysis firm Bubblemaps, the MYX team has direct links to wallets that claimed a $170 million airdrop, suggesting possible insider manipulation.
Bubblemaps previously discovered that a single entity used 100 new wallets to claim $170 million from the MYX airdrop. Tracing funds from the MYX creator wallet 0x8eEB across chains led to one of the airdrop recipient wallets, 0x4a31.
Bubblemaps stated that wallet 0x4a31 not only matches the funding pattern of 95 other suspected Sybil wallets but also sent $2.8 million worth of MYX tokens to a deposit address that was previously used only by another wallet, 0xeb5A, linked to the MYX creator.
Bubblemaps noted that while the MYX team previously claimed some users requested address changes in response to criticism, new evidence suggests the situation may be more serious.
